Vitaliy Gotra, a member of the Uzhhorod City Council, shared this information in a comment to the Zakarpats\u2019kyi Visnyk.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What does this mean for passengers and the city?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u200bConvenience for residents: Residents <\/strong> <strong>of the Onokivska community<\/strong> who have discount cards will be able to ride Uzhhorod\u2019s municipal and private public transportation for free\u2014all they need to do is validate their card upon boarding.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Transparent Accounting and Funding:<\/strong> Thanks to electronic trip tracking, the city will know exactly how many passengers with reduced-fare status are transported and will receive compensation from a neighboring territorial community as part of intermunicipal cooperation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Onokivska community was the first to sign such an agreement with Uzhhorod.
