{"id":6661,"date":"2026-09-11T09:32:25","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T06:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zakvisnyk.com.ua\/2026\/09\/11\/a-number-of-key-decisions-were-adopted-at-a-meeting-of-the-transcarpathian-regional-council-commentary-by-roman-saray\/"},"modified":"2026-11-05T17:06:28","modified_gmt":"2026-11-05T15:06:28","slug":"a-number-of-key-decisions-were-adopted-at-a-meeting-of-the-transcarpathian-regional-council-commentary-by-roman-saray","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zakvisnyk.com.ua\/en\/2026\/09\/11\/a-number-of-key-decisions-were-adopted-at-a-meeting-of-the-transcarpathian-regional-council-commentary-by-roman-saray\/","title":{"rendered":"A number of key decisions were adopted at a meeting of the Transcarpathian Regional Council: commentary by Roman Saray"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During a regular session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, deputies supported significant changes to the regional budget, allocated additional funds for defense, and adopted a resolution to increase transparency in educational and medical institutions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Roman Saray<\/strong>, chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, commented on the session\u2019s results and key decisions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Extensive Support for the Armed Forces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most important sets of decisions adopted concerns financial assistance for Ukraine\u2019s defenders.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cDuring the intersessional period, together with the communities<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zakvisnyk.com.ua\/en\/zakarpattia-news\/\"> of Zakarpattia<\/a>, we allocated 688 million hryvnias for war-related needs,\u201d<\/em> Roman Saray emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These funds will be used to carry out priority defense tasks and support military units.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Budget and Regional Program Adjustments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the military-financial sector, regional lawmakers reviewed and adjusted the region\u2019s main budget.
