The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (Western Regional Directorate) has released summary statistics on passenger and vehicle traffic along the western sections of the state border over the past 24 hours, as of November 5. A total of 65,000 people and 17,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine\u2019s border with European Union countries and the Republic of Moldova (specifically within Chernivtsi Oblast).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Balance of Entries and Exits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n According to border guards, over the past 24 hours, there was a slight predominance of departures from Ukraine:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \ud83d\udce5 Over the past 24 hours, 31,000 people entered Ukraine. The vast majority of travelers were Ukrainians\u201428,000 citizens returned home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n \ud83d\udce4 Over the past 24 hours, 34,000 people left Ukraine. Most of them\u201420,000 people\u2014crossed the border into Poland. The rest chose to cross at checkpoints on the borders with other neighboring EU countries and with Moldova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n In addition to passenger transport, the western border remains a key route for the delivery of aid. On November 5, border guards, in cooperation with customs services, processed 94 vehicles carrying humanitarian cargo under a simplified and priority procedure. These shipments are intended to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hospitals, and to support the civilian population affected by the hostilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n Important Reminder Regarding Exit Rules<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine strongly urges citizens to be careful when planning trips and preparing documents.
