The regional mediaoutlet “Zakarpattia Visnyk”and the Zakarpattia Regional Bar Association have officially signed a memorandum on partnership, informational cooperation, and legal advocacy.
The document was signed by Oleksiy Fazekosh, chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Bar Association, and Kateryna Sitak, a leading journalist and authorized representative of “Zakarpats’kyi Visnyk.”
Main Goals and Areas of the Partnership
The main objective of the memorandum is to join forces in order to:
- the development of civil society and the promotion of legal literacy among the region’s residents;
- ensuring freedom of speech;
- guaranteeing the professional rights of journalists and members of the legal community.
New Column: “Ask a Lawyer”
As part of the signed memorandum , the parties are launching a joint, ongoing column titled “Ask a Lawyer.” Through this column, every resident of the region will be able to receive professional and expert legal answers to their questions from the best legal experts in Transcarpathia.
