On September 10, the Transcarpathian Regional Council held its regular session. In an exclusive interview for an issueof “Zakarpattia Visnyk,” Transcarpathian Regional Council member Heorhiy Horvat discussed the most important decisions and summarized the work of the council.
Assessing the results of the session, Georgiy Horvat emphasized that all the decisions adopted were well-considered and necessary for the region. Among the key issues on which the deputies voted were:
- Budget amendments and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The primary focus is on providing financial support to Ukrainian servicemembers.
- Establishment of supervisory boards. To strengthen oversight and transparency, such bodies have been established in all educational institutions in the region, as well as in specialized medical facilities.
“All the decisions are necessary and well-considered. It’s good that we adopted the budget amendments, which prioritize support for the military,” Georgiy Horvat emphasized in an exclusive comment for *Zakarpats’kyi Visnyk*.
