Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga announced that he is looking forward to the upcoming visit of Polish President Karol Navrotsky to Kyiv. In an interview with "Ukrinform," he emphasized that Ukraine hopes the Polish leader will arrive in the very near future.
According to Sibiga, this visit is of great importance for the further development of good-neighborly relations between the two countries. He also highlighted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s openness to dialogue, as evidenced by a recent phone conversation between the two heads of state ahead of Nawrocki’s visit to Washington.
In addition to bilateral talks at the highest level, the focus will be on search and exhumation efforts, where significant progress has already been made. The work of the Ukrainian and Polish teams in this area will continue.
It should be recalled that during his speech at the UN General Assembly session, Karol Navrotsky emphasized the spread of Russian imperialism and noted that, for the first time since World War II, armed fire had been used on Polish territory. At the same time, he expressed his willingness to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to secure guarantees of safety for his country.
